KTS has been advised the Brighton Marina proposal (BH2019/00964) is being targeted for October’s Planning Committee meeting. A comprehensive assessment of the planning application is currently being undertaken.
Following KTS’s AGM in May, the Chairman made a written submission to BHCC on behalf of members, strongly objecting to the proposal. As KTS’s representative on BHCC’s Conservation Advisory Group (CAG), I presented the application at the May meeting, where it was rejected unanimously.
I am in contact with the case officer and will keep members informed on any revision to the October timing.
