Madeira Terrace is changing and this is your opportunity to be part of what happens next.  Brighton & Hove City Council has arranged a meeting on Thursday 9 May from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the BMECP Centre, 10A Fleet Street, Brighton BN1 4ZE.

The council is at the beginning of taking forward the practicalities of the restoration project for the Grade 2 listed Terrace. The multi-million pound scheme will regenerate the area and provide a new future for the Eastern seafront. Your contribution will help guide them where they go from here and how they will make it happen in conjunction with an Advisory Panel who will represent you.

The project covers the 850m stretch of seafront arches on Madeira Drive and will have an impact on everyone involved, whether you live, work, organise events, have a business or are part of the community working to restore the historic structure.

At the meeting you will find out more about the latest funding bid, the conservation challenges, building in the crowd-funded Arches, and how to ensure the community’s vision is at the heart of the project at every stage. The event will be introduced by Nick Hibberd, the council’s Executive Director for Economy, Environment & Culture.

It is ticketed event and for your free ticket, please click on the link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/madeira-terrace-restoration-collaboration-meeting-tickets-60410767231
