A REQUEST FOR NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Sadly, this year sees the resignation of some much-valued members of the committee and we are hoping to recruit ‘new blood’ to help carry us forward in 2026 and beyond.
We would therefore welcome volunteers and/or nominations for new committee members.
Being a committee member is not an arduous task; we meet 4-6 times per year to review recent events and local issues, and plan to upcoming ones. Without an active and enthusiastic committee, events such as the annual garden party and quiz could simply not happen.
You need no special skills, and our meetings are concluded with wine and a cold buffet.
If you, or anyone that you know, would be keen and willing to join the committee, please approach one of us at the AGM or email our treasurer, Jeremy Browning.
